Design for Mt. Veeder Appellation
The Mt. Veeder Appellation Council is the organization of wineries and growers in the Mt. Veeder American Viticultural Area (AVA). Their mission is to support the marketing efforts of their members by promoting the Appellation as a source of superior wine.
Since the Appellation is perhaps less well-known than a number of other Napa Valley sub-Appellations, the goal was to create a site that would highlight thfe Appellation's unique characteristics and provide details on the wineries and growers of the region.
In order to help visitors locate wineries in this mountainous and relatively rugged area, we developed an interactive map with custom winery and grower icons. In addition, we developed winery and grower listings that can be easily maintained as the organization's membership grows.
