Design for Calafia Cellars
Calafia Cellars is a boutique winery in St. Helena, CA, owned by Randall and MaryLee Johnson. Our goal was to create a simple site that would allow them to market their one wine.
We decided that the site would emphasize the wine and the personalities of the owners. The rich dark background mirrors the richness of the wine. The header, using an image of their vineyard, emphasizes the connection between hands-on vineyard management and a quality final product.
The About Us page allows prospective buyers the opportunity to see the passion that the owners put into the wine they produce.
